Beauty permeates throughout Huntington and I have always longed to caputre its essence on film. As a result, I have selected some of my favorite photographs for publication.

From a summer morning walk in Ritter Park to an evening fireworks display on the Ohio River, the city is alive. Whether it is the brilliant color of Fall , the architecture of the First United Methodist Church or children racing over the tracks of a Camden Park roller coaster , Huntington is a rich palette. A view of Huntington from atop McCoy Road showcases the city's skyline as well as its pleasing fall foliage. Recreation abounds throughout the region as evidenced by this summertime photograph of Lavalette Golf Course's signature silos and double green. Although a small city, Huntington affords an abundance of fine dining including the dramatic showmanship of Japanese cuisine. A child chases birds through the snow at Harris Riverfront Park . A perspective of the Ohio River not seen by most Huntingtonians -- a brilliant sunset illuminates the evening sky behind the Sixth Street bridge. Cultural opportunities abound throughout the community including the Huntington Museum of Art's newly-completed nature observatory . Huntington's Mounted Horse Patrol provides a photographer with another singular image of the city. An evening sunset scene at the Huntington rail yard is a reminder of city founder Collis P. Huntington and our community's roots. Fine homes and mansions can be found throughout Huntington including this early spring photograph of the regal Ibrahim home on High Drive. A twilight perspective of Huntington's stately 31st Street suspension bridge which spans the mightly Ohio River and links us with the Tri-State. A perfectly matured red rose draws the affection of countless visitors to Huntington's Ritter Park Rose Garden. A rare view of Huntington's own Keith-Albee Theatre, the state's most opulent show palace, bright with full lighting designed to entice moviegoers to step inside for an evening of entertainment.
